PROJECT GALLERY
MUSEUM OF FLIGHT
The museum of flight was done in the spring of my 3rd year of architecture. The focus was on facade and the control of light into spaces. We were given program and spatial requirements, but given freedom with the type of museum to be designed.

TRANSITORY
Transitory was an exploratory project done while studying abroad in Paris. The aim of the project was to study the boundaries, borders, and transitions among the Seine. The intent was to study how the banks of the river are used practically and culturally. By observing users, the details of the surrounding bridge and cobblestone, and the rich history of the city and the river itself, the intervention proposed was supposed to "bridge" the gap between the old and the new of Paris, as the banks of the site were historically very different.
A poem was imposed over the collage work of digital and hand-drawn work to emphasize the power of the river.
URBANCARE
The UrbanCARE project was done during fall of my 3rd year as an architecture student. We were required to adhere to program, code, structural limitations, and the qualities of site.

THE EFFECTS OF LIGHT AND COLOR
This project was part of my color theory class to get my interior design minor. The process involved taking a prior project and applying color and lighting to influence the mood and energy of the users. Multiple color schemes were analyzed, and ultimately one scheme was applied to four rooms with a different program. Each color used has a purpose. Textures and materials were also considered in this process.
The project I used to perform this study was the UrbanCARE project, which is shown above.
LA PETITE CEINTURE
La Petite Ceinture was a project done while I was studying abroad in Paris, France. There was no program or limitations assigned. We were instructed to go into and study the city.

FACADE STUDY
The facade study was done in spring of my 3rd year as a precursor for the Museum of Flight. The program Diva, a plug-in for Rhino, was used to understand the impact light had on our project location in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The purpose of the project was to design a facade for a multi-level space of a pre-existing building. The facade of the Museum of Geology and Natural Science is composed of wooden lovers cut and assembled to form the topography of the Mississippi River. The topographical location selected was perpendicular to the building being designed for. The same topography is morphed within the interior of the building to further influence the light and create spaces for spectators to sit. The study was conducted to see how sunlight behaves seasonally and at different times of the day.
